For several centuries, the commune of Beaucroissant, near Grenoble, welcomes in April and September two major fairs.
The spring fair (first edition in 1836) brings together nearly 1,000 exhibitors on an area of 15 hectares and receives 250 to 300,000 visitors.
Its eldest, the fair of autumn (first edition in 1220) brings together over 1800 exhibitors from 70 departments and about 800,000 visitors.
